Why did you become a seminarian?

I knew that this was the path the Lord was calling me to take. I had my plans to go swim in college, but in the final years of high school God made known to me that He had something else in mind. I eventually got to the point where the tugging on my heart towards seminary left me with no doubt I needed to go. I met with Msgr. Brownsey to talk to him about my vocation, and he said in reply that I could do my will, but if I wanted to be happy I needed to do God’s will. With this in mind, I knew I had to go to seminary.

Before you entered the seminary, what were you doing?

I was planning on swimming at the collegiate level and double majoring in Literature and Theology.
