Why did you become a seminarian?

Ever since I was a senior in high school, the One, True King has led me on a wild adventure. In this chaotic and wacky life, He’s been the one constant, always drawing me closer to His Love, Truth, and Beauty. After two mission trips to Uganda and Peru, there was a great reality that burned true. This realization was that pouring out my life in service for others is where I discover the man God made me to be. As JP II said, “Man cannot fully find himself without first making a sincere gift of himself.” The Good Father has stirred my heart and presented me with an invitation; now it’s up to me to respond.

Before you entered the seminary, what were you doing?

I was going to school at Parkland College and graduated with an associate’s degree in criminal justice. I also worked at Jupiter’s Pizzeria and Billiards as a server.

An interesting fact about you

I used to be an up-and-coming Major League Gamer for the game Call of Duty, until the Lord gave me a different call of duty…seminary.
