Why did you become a seminarian?
After a visit to Medugorje in the summer before my freshman year in high school, I started to attend daily Mass. My yearning for Jesus only got stronger as I attended the University of Illinois and got involved in the Newman Center. It was there that I felt a calling to discern a vocation to the priesthood and tried to push it away for two years, but the desire for intentional discernment only got stronger as time went on. Now, a couple years later, I know that the next step in my discernment is to attend seminary.
Before you entered the seminary, what were you doing?
I was an RA at the Newman Center at the University of Illinois for three years and graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting, which lead me to working at the public accounting firm Ernst and Young after graduation.
An interesting fact about you
