Why did you become a seminarian?
During the second half of my Freshman year of college, I began living my faith for the first time. A sense of being called to the priesthood slowly developed as I drew closer to Christ. By the time I had reached my Senior year, the calling was stronger than ever; but I still wasn't sure. Once I realized that seminary is a period of ongoing discernment, I knew I needed to pull the trigger and apply. I look forward to my continued discernment and hope that Jesus guides me toward His will in the years to come.
Before you entered the seminary, what were you doing?
I was studying Economics at the University of Illinois. I received my Bachelor's degree in May of 2012.
An interesting fact about you:
I once went on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Colorado
from Illinois with a friend. We got the idea a little before
11 PM and we were on the road by midnight.
