Resources

If you’re considering a priestly vocation and would like to learn more about the path, we offer a wide variety of resources to help you decide if it’s the right decision for you.

Visit our Videos section for clips featuring our own seminarians, who discuss the experiences that led them to the priesthood, as well as what that calling means to them. We also have other videos that discuss the priesthood, like our Fishers of Men video.

Go to Suggested Reading for a list of suggestions on books, articles and meditations that will help settle your mind. With selections from various authors, from lay leaders to the Blessed Pope John Paul II himself, this list is bound to contain something that can help you hear God’s call.

View and download the most current Seminarian Prayer Intention Card, which lists a special prayer intention (seminarian, staff, or group involved in priestly vocations) for each day of each month.

If you’re a Vocations Coordinator for your parish, visit our Parish Resources section to gather resources and materials for your program.

If you are a parent and your son is considering joining the seminary, visit our For Parents page for information on making this journey together as a family.

If you think you may be called to a vocation in a religious community, check our list of Religious Communities to find one close to home. These men and women have answered God’s call, and may be able to help you do the same.
