Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary is a college seminary and was founded in 1948 in Winona, Minnesota. They partner with St. Mary’s University of Minnesota to provide a first-rate seminary education in both priestly formation and academic subjects, specifically philosophy. Mundelein Seminary at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL is a major seminary and was founded in 1921. The seminary strives to prepare men to be parish priests who desire to bring others to Christ in a compassionate way. The current rector of the seminary is Fr. John Kartje.
